The year 2025 marks a significant event on the Jordan Brand calendar – the 40th anniversary of the iconic Air Jordan 1. As you might expect, this milestone brings some highly anticipated releases of the classic 1985 model. But naturally, no celebration of the beloved model would be complete without a stellar collaboration from La Flame.  As such, his rumoured Travis Scott x Jordan 1 Low “Pink” collection, slated for release next year, promises to steal the spotlight and be a key piece of the festivities.

Many assumed Travis Scott would move on from the AJ 1 Low, especially with the introduction of his new signature shoe with Jordan Brand. However, it’s entirely fitting to see another collaboration between these icons to celebrate a significant milestone in sneaker history.

Since 2018, Travis Scott and Jordan Brand have been crafting sneaker collaborations, with the AJ1 emerging as Travis’s go-to canvas. Needless to say, the popularity of these collabs has been immense, starting with his iconic “Mocha” pair and continuing to more recent releases like the canary yellow “Elkins” variant.

So, it makes perfect sense for Travis Scott and Jordan Brand to honour this rich legacy and celebrate the silhouette’s anniversary with a fresh AJ1 Low collaboration.

A Closer Look at the “Pink” Collection

If you’re a fan of Travis Scott’s previous AJ 1 Low designs, you’re in for a treat. According to Sneaker Market Romania, this latest collaboration brings us two stunning pink-based colourways. The women’s pair is set in a captivating “Dark Pony/Pink Oxford,” while the men’s iteration boasts a “Sail/Shy Pink/Muslin” scheme. Expect the iconic Travis Scott flair with signature colour blocking.

The first Air Jordan 1 Low design features an enticing Dark Pony and Pink Oxford colour combination. This sneaker highlights Travis Scott’s iconic touches, including the signature reverse Swoosh and “Cactus Jack” branding on the tongue tags. As expected with a TS collab, it will likely come with unique packaging and additional lace sets.

Next is a promising Sail, Shy Pink, and Muslin colour scheme. This version is decked out with all the iconic TS details, including the Cactus Jack and Wings logos adorning the heels.

While the exact colour-blocking details remain a mystery, at least the speculative mock-ups offer a glimpse into the anticipated design.

Does this Colour Combo Look Familiar?

Although official images of the “Pink” collection haven’t emerged yet, the colour scheme does hint at a subtle nod to the popular “Neapolitan” TS x AJ1 customs by sneaker artist Huy Le. With their beautiful combo of sail, pink and brown, these custom creations have been quite the sensation online, so it wouldn’t be far-fetched to think that the Jordan Brand team might have taken a leaf out of that book for this upcoming release. Of course, this is just speculation, but it’s an intriguing possibility.
