A$AP ROCKY joined the PUMA stables in 2024 as Creative Director, featuring on the brand’s F1 collaboration that was officially announced the same year. Having found his feet and established his creative language with the PUMA brand throughout 2025, the duo take a stab at reviving an iconic 90s Suede design, with nods to the New York street culture. The A$AP ROCKY x PUMA Suede ’94 reimagines this heritage through his lens, leaning into the nostalgia from that period.

It is grounded and unmistakably itself, woven into iconic scenes and communities throughout, and is a symbol of effortless style and enduring relevance.
Inside the A$AP Rocky x PUMA Suede ’94 Design
In the latest variant, the Suede ’94 keeps the ethos of its design elements, featuring a raw-edge padded tongue, retro woven labelling and slimmer tooling shape, complete with its iconic suede finish. These elements are complemented by bespoke touches including a gold PUMA lace keeper and custom shoebox. The standout visual difference on this iteration is the full retro PUMA logo on the quarter panel. No previous iterations have done this, making the Suede ’94 instantly identifiable.
A$AP Rocky in discussion about roots and association with the culture and Suede:
“I remember when my mom bought me my first pair of suedes. Growing up in New York and seeing Walt Clyde Frazier with his style and his PUMA suedes, they were the shoes. And now to be able to tap into that 90s nostalgia and bring them back with my own creative lens and special details, it’s great. PUMA hasn’t brought the ’94 back since it dropped and reviving it stitch-for-stitch from the archive just felt right.”
