One of the most infamous Nike SB Dunk Low colourways ever was transformed into an equally ominous Jordan design by custom sneaker artist Jake Danklefs. Although the Nightmare on Elm Street villain may terrorise dreams, these “Freddy Krueger” Jordan 3 sneakers are nothing but sheer delight.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
The custom sneaker offers somewhat of an inverted take on the ‘Freddy Krueger’ SB Dunks that were planned to be released in 2007.
The base is made of off-white tumbled leather covered in dark red paint splatters, while the toe, heel, eyelets and collar all wear the green and red stripes synonymous with Freddy’s trademark jumper.
The design also includes silver patent leather swooshes that replicate the villain’s metal claws (and are a feature on the original SB Dunk design), as well as green tongues and laces to complete the look.
These could very well be the sneakers of many horror fans’ dreams; let’s just pray that the custom price tag isn’t the stuff of nightmares.
How To Get Your Hands On The “Freddy Krueger” Jordan 3
If you want to purchase your own pair of ‘Freddy Krueger’ sneakers, be sure to contact Dank & Co. via their Instagram account or their website. However, keep in mind that no two pairs are created exactly alike to ensure that each custom order remains one of a kind.
