One of the most infamous Nike SB Dunk Low colourways to ever exist has been transformed into an equally eerie Jordan 3 design by custom sneaker artist Jake Danklefs. The Nightmare on Elm Street villain may terrorise dreams, but these “Freddy Krueger” Jordan 3 sneakers are a horror fan’s dream pair.

The design is a somewhat inverted take on the “Freddy Krueger” SB Dunks that were meant to release in 2007. The base is made of off-white tumbled leather covered in dark red paint splatters, while the toe, heel, eyelets, and collar all wear the green and red stripes that have become synonymous with Freddy’s signature sweater.

These shoes also include silver patent leather Swooshes to replicate Freddy’s metal claws (A feature inspired by the original SB Dunk design). Then there’s the green tongue and laces to complete the look.

If you’re interested in slipping your feet into a pair of custom ‘Freddy Krueger’ sneakers, contact Dank & Co. via their Instagram account or their website. That said, no two designs are created exactly alike to ensure that each custom order is one of a kind.

You can also check out other sneaker designs inspired by the dream demon who haunts nightmares. Take a look at John Trottier’s Jordan 1 offering or Allen Joshua Llaguno’s Nike Air Force 1s.
