New Yeezy boots have quietly shown up on Yeezy.com. This time without the Adidas logos, of course. If you’ve been watching Kanye West rebuild his fashion empire after the Adidas split in October 2022, this definitely feels like the next chapter for the brand. More giant foam boots that look like they were pulled from a sci-fi wardrobe department.
The latest pair, shown in tan and brown on Instagram, looks rugged and sculpted. There’s no official name yet. But, then again, nothing on yeezy.com really has a name, does it? Hoodies go by HD01. Sizes are 1, 2, 3. Small, medium, large. It’s meant to be incredibly minimalistic. But it’s also incredibly confusing.
Yeezy.com launched as Kanye’s first fully independent brand. There’s no big retail partner attached here, which also means there’s no giant warehouse either. It’s just Ye and probably a small team building the plane mid-flight. Prices range from as low as $20 to more than a $100. Of course the boots sit at the top end. They’re affordable by Yeezy standards, of course, especially considering that Adidas Yeezy slides were reselling for $250 just a few years ago.
The new boot joins a growing lineup teased on the site. There’s a chunky insulated-looking pair that echoes the old Adidas collab from the late 2010s. The 950 boot appears set to return, this time without Adidas branding.
Here’s the problem, however: technically, not everything you see actually exists yet.
Since the site went live two years ago, customers have reported long waits. Months. Years. Some items never ship. The SL03 boot, priced at $20, disappeared entirely. Buyers either received nothing or opened their package to find an SL1 instead. And Yeezy doesn’t accept returns. All sales are final. And don’t expect an explanation either.
What’s even crazier is the packaging the products come in. Some shoes arrive in a white plastic bag wrapped in tape. No kidding.
Still, when products do land, the value holds up. Hoodies and sweats are made in the USA from 100% cotton. They’re well worth the $20 price tag. There’s even a $20 Yeezy Slide that is nearly identical to the old Adidas version.
So where do these new Yeezy boots land? If you expect premium materials and next-week delivery, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re here for bold sci-fi design that looks like nothing you’ve ever seen before at a lower price and you don’t mind waiting a very long time, these new Yeezy boots could be worth it.
