These Nike SB Prowler Dunk Lows would make Spider-Man jealous.

In 2023, the second instalment of the hugely popular Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hit screens with spectacular fanfare. Though the first film set a high bar, the sequel managed to swing well past it, taking us on a whirlwind adventure across multiple dimensions. The magic wasn’t confined to the storyline and animation – true sneakerheads will have spied some seriously fashionable footwear, adding depth and flair to each character. From our hero, Miles Morales, rocking the OG Air Jordan 1 High ‘Chicago’ with a twist to Spider-Gwen sporting a chic pair of teal Chucks, there were undoubtedly many sneaker moments to appreciate. And let’s not forget the sneak peek of the utility-style Air Jordan 1 on Prowler that sparked a frenzy on the internet.

There were even rumours that these sneakers would drop with the upcoming sequel. While we can’t confirm those speculations, there is one pair that fans might be able to snatch – Nike SB Prowler Dunk Lows. However, before we get to those details, let’s take a look at this stylish pair.

The Prowler x Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers beautifully echo the Air Jordan 1 design worn by Prowler in the movie. It’s not an identical replica, but the vibrant fusion of neon pink and purple against a black background certainly captures the eye.

Not to mention, the quarter panels bear an exquisitely textured finish resembling the mesh detail on the original. That said, one glaring omission is the Utility Stash feature, seen prominently on the heel in the beloved Spidey animation. This detail didn’t make it into the Nike SB design. However, as some Nike SB colourways offer a concealed pocket in the tongue, this could serve as a suitable replacement for the missing Utility Stash.

Another standout feature of these sneakers is the neon pink detailing on the overlays and swooshes, a design choice that genuinely gives these shoes a kick. So, as we all eagerly await the release of the Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse sneaker, tied into the upcoming and much-anticipated film, these Nike SB Prowler Dunk Lows are a brilliant alternative. That said, with the film’s release shifted from its initial 2024 timeline to an indefinite date, it could be some time before we see the official Spider-Man sneakers hit the streets.
