It’s beginning to look a lot like Kithmas, as Kith will be teaming up with Clarks and the 8th Street Samba for another special collaboration this year. Sure, the trio released a snakeskin collection for the Christmas and Hannukah seasons just last year (which was just four months ago). Still, it doesn’t make their next collaboration any less thrilling.
A Closer Look At The Sneakers
This design is not a new colourway for the previously released 8th Street Sambas from 2023. Instead, the collaboration has shifted to the Samba Japan style, which is, in fact, slightly different from the more conventional Samba. For one, the Japan iteration has curved toe stitching evocative of the quilted look of ’90s indoor football shoes, and that’s what makes this collaboration so unique and distinctive.
As for the details, the shoe will be covered in premium black tumbled leather with white leather accents on the heel tab and striping. The sneakers finish with Kith-branded hangtags attached to the laces and Clark’s crepe rubber sole underneath.
Kith x Clarks x 8th Street Samba Release Details
Specifics for the pending release have yet to be announced, but fans can expect the collaboration to debut around the spring and summer months—perhaps for Kithmas in July? Keep checking back for updates on availability, as the release might only be available through Kith’s physical and online stores.
More Samba colourways to enjoy in the spring and summer include in-house releases like the “LT Stitch”, “Crochet”, and “Black Pony Hair” designs and another collab with the talented designer Caroline Hu. While we wait, be sure to follow Sneaker Fortress for more sneaker drops and news.
