2025 is here, and Air Jordan Brand is expected to bring the heat! From the Year of the Snake collection to the release of the Air Jordan 5 Grape, the house that Michael Jordan built isn’t holding back on dropping exclusives and retros to celebrate 40 years of sneaker greatness. Here are the 10 best Jordan sneakers (just the tip of the iceberg) that sneakerheads are looking forward to in 2025.

Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined” 2025

The Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” will receive an exciting makeover as part of the Reimagined series in 2025. At first glance, the design might seem familiar: matte nubuck uppers, icy soles, and the model’s signature shark teeth detailing done in grey. However, the “Reimagined” version for next year will sport reflective piping on the uppers and will include white shoelaces reminiscent of Michael Jordan’s exclusive player pairs. This updated version of the Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic” is set to be released on February 15, 2025. To learn more: Air Jordan 5 “Black Metallic Reimagined”

Nike and Jordan Brand are pulling out classics from the vault to get sneakerheads excited for their 40th anniversary. While specific details about the Air Jordan 5 “Grape” colourway’s execution are still under wraps for now, it is expected that the pair will be retro-ed to the original colour blocking and material specifications: White, New Emerald, Grape Ice, and Black, with Nike Air branding on the rear. Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline” 2025

The Jordan Brand ‘Bloodline’ series, a collection that hasn’t seen a new release in four years, is making a return in 2025 with a fresh Air Jordan 12 colourway. The new AJ 12 colourway blends “Black” and “Varsity Red” across the iconic 1996 model’s design. The sneaker showcases an all-black leather upper with textured overlays that elegantly hug the sides. To learn more: Air Jordan 12 “Bloodline”

Air Jordan 4 “Denim” 2025

Jordan Brand is gearing up to introduce a new blue-washed denim Air Jordan 4 sneaker to their collection in 2025. The sneaker is expected to feature two shades of blue denim, with a lighter tone adorning the upper half, while darker blue denim covers the toe guard, mudguard, and lower lace eyelets. So far, four Air Jordan “Rare Air” releases have been confirmed for 2025, each with distinct colourways and design elements. The pack includes an Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 4, and two Air Jordan 1 High tops. To learn more: Air Jordan “Rare Air” 2025

Air Jordan 1 High “Xuanwu”

Jordan Brand’s exclusive “Xuanwu”-inspired Air Jordan 1 High is undoubtedly the “Year of the Snake” release that sneakerheads wanted. To kick things off, the shoe’s black collar and white leather base are the perfect backdrop for the detailed scale and shell patterns that run along the shoe. The tortoise component of the Chinese deity is portrayed through the brown and amber tortoiseshell embellishments on the Swoosh, Wings logo, heel, and outsole. Air Jordan 1 Low “Valentine’s Day” 2025

Sneakerheads can anticipate the release of a special pastel pink Air Jordan 1 Low sneaker design for Valentine’s Day 2025. The AJ1 Low comes dressed up in pastel pink leather for Valentine’s Day celebrations next year, with the forefoot overlays having an almost iridescent finish and the heel and collar spruced up with glossy patent leather. To further enhance the appearance, the typical Swooshes are replaced with an eye-catching red jewel-like design that reminds us of the details seen on the upcoming “V-Day” Jordan 3. Air Jordan 11 ‘Gamma Blue’ 2025

2025 is expected to see the return of plenty of cherished retro Jordan sneakers, including the Air Jordan 11 “Gamma Blue.” We know plenty of sneakerheads have been waiting for the chance to snag this famous colourway again—for less than the inflated resale price, of course. Expect the same black uppers made of mesh, glossy patent leather, and leather at the heels, with Gamma Blue and Varsity Maize branding adding flashes of colour throughout the silhouette. Air Jordan 11 Low CNY “Year Of The Snake”

The Air Jordan 11 Low is set to feature a striking “Year of the Snake” design in honour of the 2025 Chinese New Year celebrations. The Air Jordan 11 Low CNY “Year Of The Snake” will feature a blend of “Black,” “Summit White,” and “Football Grey” to craft a sleek and stylish look. Expect this new snake-inspired version of the AJ11 Low to hit shelves in early 2025. To learn more: Air Jordan 11 Low CNY “Year Of The Snake”

‘UNC’ Jordan 4 PE

This year’s design for the University of North Carolina (Michael Jordan’s very own alma mater) has been heavily influenced by the stunning “First Class” Jordan 4 the Jumpman Label crafted for its WNBA athletes last year. It features the same gilded details that made its predecessor a truly luxurious piece, along with identical tonal uppers (this time in blue hues, of course), plus a tongue and mudguard with a stingray texture.
