We have yet to meet any kid raised in the ’80s or ’90s who doesn’t have fond memories of the heroes in a half shell, yup, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, most of us are now big kids with adult money to spend, which means getting to indulge in all the nostalgic merchandise we want. High up on the list are TMNT sneakers from the best brands out there, and we’ve put together a list of some of the top options.
Melo x TMNT Sneakers

PUMA set out an entire collection of Lamelo Ball’s signature sneakers for TMNT fans to collect in 2025. Those who scooped up all four standard releases (the two mismatched turtle brother MB.04 designs, plus the Krang MB.03 Low and Baxter Stockman MB.01) were eligible for a free MB.04 pair inspired by Shredder. Only 444 pairs of the shiny silver Shredder shoe—try saying that 10 times fast—were made, so they go for a pretty penny on resale sites. More about the Melo x TMNT sneakers.
PUMA Suede XL x TMNT Sneakers

PUMA didn’t just stop at a pack of hooping shoes for their TMNT sneaker pack; they included two Suede XL sneakers among their lifestyle offerings. The heroes in a half shell got a green design covered in a shell-like print, while Krang’s pair sported pink folded uppers and matching insoles to give a brain-like effect. To top things off, PUMA packaged the kicks in a pizza-style box with extra laces, themed charms, manhole cover hang tags, and stickers that really sold the experience. Nike Dunks x TMNT Sneakers

Padded quarter panels, the best green croc skin leather money can buy, and coloured bandana ties turn Nike’s SB Dunk low sneakers into an absolute dream for TMNT fans. This custom design by Dariyn Enriquez is truly something else. More on the TMNT x Nike Dunks.
Adidas Superstar x TMNT Shelltoes

Adidas helped the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles celebrate the 40th anniversary of their first comic book appearance with a special ‘Shelltoe’ Superstar design. The difference between this pair and your regular old Superstar pair? A turtle shell pattern on the toe cap, of course. Aside from this special touch, the sneaker also boasts textured leather uppers in green and a nod to Raphael on the three stripes and lace jewel. Not to forget the custom pizza covered insoles, extra laces, and letter charms to represent all four turtle brothers. More on the Adidas Superstar x TMNT Shelltoes.
Adidas Superstar x TMNT “Shredder” and “Splinter”

Mortal enemies Splinter and Shredder also had a chance to show each other up in 2024. Both characters received their own ‘Shelltoe’ adidas Superstar design. Splinter’s pair was covered with hairy brown suede and adorned with matching laces and gold lace dubraes to represent his weaponry. Shredder, on the other hand, was represented with a black leather shoe featuring shiny silver stripes and his face as a lace dubrae.
Air Jordan 1 x TMNT

While it seems unlikely that TMNT fans will ever receive an official Jordan 1 collab, artist Sean Fontenot crafted one of the best custom sneakers we ever did see. One foot represents villain Shredder, while the other packs in all four turtle bros on one shoe. Everything is then tied together with an oozing green slime inspired by the mutagen that turned the turtles into crime-fighting ninjas. Fontenot even added a mini cracked bottle to the laces to play into the effect. It’s all in the details. More on the Air Jordan 1 x TMNT.
Fila The Cage Mid x TMNT “Shredder”

Before PUMA or even adidas dressed up their silhouettes as the gang’s armoured arch-nemesis, Fila released a steel grey and purple Cage sneaker that brought the samurai bad guy to life. They couldn’t have chosen a better silhouette for the collab. Fans snatched these up faster than you could say “Cowabunga”. Honestly, evil doin’ never looked this good.
Fila FX-100 x TMNT

Back in 2013, Fila also had TMNT fans feeling like they could get in on the butt kicking action with a combat boot style Fila FX-100 sneaker. While the overall look was pretty simple—tonal green leather and canvas uppers with minimalist shell embroidery at the heel—what really sold this pair was the ability to swap out the straps so you could represent a different turtle brother each time you wore them. Which also meant you could match them with a different T-shirt colour every time. Call this a bang for your buck.
Fila M-Squad x TMNT

Fila revisited the tonal green look for their follow-up TMNT collab in 2014. Instead of highlighting the full pizza-eating ninja crew, they zoomed in solely on Michelangelo. It has plenty of orange hits but also throws in a fun camo print on the midsole. Funny enough, Mikey actually wore these kicks in the 2014 movie.
Nike SB Dunk Low “Deep Royal Blue”

The Swoosh team never took an official crack at a TMNT sneaker, but they unconsciously created one of the best colourways to represent Leonardo with their Nike SB Dunk Low “Deep Royal Blue” from 2024. Think bottle green uppers contrasted by overlays in the perfect—and we do mean perfect—shade of blue. Unfortunately, no other shoutouts to the leader of the reptilian crew are present, but a custom ‘L’ lace dubrae or Leo face patch could easily solve that problem.
