The-24-Best-Spider-Man-And-Spider-Verse-inspired-Sneakers

Since its onscreen debut in 2018, the Spider-Verse has captivated artists and creators worldwide, not excluding us here at Sneaker Fortress. From official sneakers to concepts, collaborations to customs, here are all of our favourite Spider-Man and Spider-Verse sneakers.

1. Adidas Ultra 4D “Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 – Miles Morales”

In celebration of Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, adidas brought out a duo of Ultra 4D sneakers to celebrate the protagonists. Unfortunately for Adidas, the reception to the sneakers wasn’t the best, despite them having designed sneakers that perfectly matched the ones he was wearing in the game, allowing players to match their favourite hero. 2. Nike Air Jordan 1 Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse

For both Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse, Nike, Jordan Brand and Sony Pictures collaborated to create stunning sneakers to promote the movies. The Nike Air Jordan 1 Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is the second pair made to celebrate the universe. Combining a stunning variety of textiles and styles that all share a red tone to tie them together, the sneakers bring the wacky and fantastic art style of the Spider-Verse movies to life in physical form.

3. Nike Air Max Plus “Spider-Man”

This pair of Nike Air Max Plus sneakers marks a nice departure from the very Jordan-heavy nature of this list. It is nice to see Nike embracing some versatility with their Spider-Man-inspired silhouettes. Surprisingly, the Air Max Plus silhouette is perfect for representing Spider-Man, with its organic-looking rubber stripes that decorate the upper of the sneakers.

4. Nike Foamposite Metallic Gold “Green Goblin”

These sneakers were never released as a Spider-Man pair for the masses; they are way cooler. This pair of Nike Foamposite sneakers was customised and incorporated into Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin suit for Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man (2002).

5. Nike Air Jordan 1 “Beyond The Spider-Verse”

After fans got to get a glimpse of The Prowler at the end of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, it took mere minutes for sneaker artists to start designing their own take on the Prowler sneakers in hopeful anticipation of seeing more of the character in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.

6. Nike Air Jordan 1 “Venom Takes Over”

At the time that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was getting ready for launch and rumours were abounding around the internet that we would see Venom in the game, we couldn’t help but wonder what the official Nike Air Jordan 1 Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse sneakers would look like if it were taken over by Venom.

7. Nike Air Jordan 4 “Spider-Man”

The Air Jordan 4, with its webbed-shaped support wings and netting that covers mesh inserts, is a perfect silhouette for representing Spider-Man. Instead of using leather or nubuck, we chose a woven textile that combines red, blue, white, and black to really bring to life the stunning details that we usually see in almost every Spider-Man suit. Accented with black and speckled white, the sneakers are gorgeous. See more: Sneaker Fortress

8. Nike Dunk Low GS “Spider-Man”

Adding a bit of variety to the Nike official Spider-Man sneakers, the Nike Dunk Low GS “Spider-Man” silhouette was created to celebrate Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and his iconic sneakers. It is predominantly white and does not have a single web in sight. The bright red perfectly complements the bright blue of the branding and stitching of the sneaker.

9. Nike Air Jordan 1 Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse

This pair takes on a more traditional Spider-Man feel, combining a blue semi-translucent outsole with white tumbled leather and rubber, red tumbled leather with comic-book-style dot shading, and black accents through the laces, the collar, the iconic Nike Swoosh and the Jordan Wings logo.

10. Adidas Superstar “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales”

The pair combines the iconic adidas Superstar silhouette with a predominantly red colourway, perfectly representing the character. The subtlety of the sneaker makes it super versatile and simple enough that you can wear it with whatever you want, and non-gamers might not recognise it.

11. Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG SP Utility Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Prowler (Friends and Family)

As soon as fans caught a glimpse of Prowler’s Jordan sneakers in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse sequel, custom pairs inspired by the look started popping up everywhere. But despite being one of the most sought-after sneakers of 2023, Nike only made the Air Jordan 1 Stash Utility “Prowler” available to friends and family. Find out more about the Air Jordan 1 Stash Utility “Prowler”.

12. Kith x Marvel x GT 2160 “Venom vs. Spider-man Pack”

Which Marvel fan doesn’t want to see Venom alongside Spider-Man? Thankfully, Kith (unlike Sony) understands the necessity and opted to include the two archenemies in a special double-box set as part of their 2024 villain collection. The packaging also included a Venom comic book that fans could collect. We’d be sold on these based on packaging alone. Find out more about the Kith x Marvel x GT 2160 “Venom vs. Spider-Man Pack”.

13. Marvel x Puma Suede “Spider-Man Miles Morales”

Puma adopted a simple yet intentional design approach for their Miles Morales Suede sneakers. The shoes feature a minimalist black upper with red stitch accents on the white Formstrip. However, this unassuming look makes way for the rubberised spider and web crest at the heel to take centre stage.

14. Nike Dunk Low “Black Spider-Man”

Despite being more of a creepy nod to Halloween than a tribute to the superhero, many sneakerheads compared this Nike Dunk Low’s black colourway and spiderweb detailing to Spidey’s symbiote suit. We definitely see it too. Find out more about the Nike Dunk Low “Black Spider-Man”.

15. Air Jordan 11 “Miles Morales”

While we’d be so lucky to get an official Jordan 11 x Marvel collab, these custom “Miles Morales” sneakers by Javornie Brathwaite are the next best thing. The look features the model’s famous “Bred” colourway with a blacked-out midsole and red web detailing across the ballistic mesh uppers. I know a few sneakerheads who would rock these. Find out more about the Air Jordan 11 “Miles Morales”.

16. Air Jordan 11 “Miles Morales”

Nike Air Jordan 11 x Miles Morales - This Is A Killer Concept

Nike and Spider-Man? Still a better love story than most rom-coms. Whether it’s Peter Parker or Miles Morales, the swoosh brand can’t seem to resist weaving Spidey into their sneaker drops. And while we sit around waiting for the next official pair to drop for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, we cooked up our own concept: Air Jordan 11 x Miles Morales. Think deep blue patent leather with that signature Spider-Verse shine, hits of true red on the stitching and laces, and a steely grey upper that nods to Brooklyn grit. No release date. No retail price. Just pure multiverse-level cool.

17. Air Jordan “Mazzulla 1”

Gorgeous Custom Air Jordan 1 Low “Mazzulla 1’s” Inspired By The Spider-Verse

The Shoe Surgeon just dropped a multiverse-level flex for Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, a custom pair of Off-White Air Jordan 1s dubbed the “Mazzulla 1’s.” Inspired by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, these kicks borrow the red glow-in-the-dark outsole from Nike’s official Spider-Verse AJ1s, and yes, it actually glows. True to The Surgeon’s signature style, the midsole rocks a perfectly aged finish, while the upper keeps things custom with cryptic touches: “Earth 401” on one shoe, “I’m Not Proud” on the other. Deep-cut fans might catch the reference to Amazing Spider-Man #401, where Peter rocked a Miles-style black-and-red suit.

18. Nike Dunk Low “Spider-Man Blue”

It’s not your typical red-and-blue Spider-Man sneaker, but that hasn’t stopped the Spider-Man: Blue x Nike Dunk Low custom from swinging into the spotlight, with over 169k likes on Instagram and counting. Designed as a tribute to Spider-Man: Blue by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale, the sneaker trades bold for nostalgic. Light blue leather with web detailing lays the foundation, while Ben-Day dot overlays and black-trimmed white Swooshes keep things rooted in classic comic book flair. A spider graphic on the tongue, black laces, and a blue midsole finish the look.
