In a galaxy far, far away, the most powerful sneaker brands and some creative minds in the footwear industry competed to earn the title of best Star Wars sneakers in the universe. They’ve borrowed from fan favourites like Chewbacca, Yoda, Boba Fett and many more to craft the most unique and collectable footwear the galaxy has ever seen. Below, you can check out some of the best Star Wars sneakers that have been dreamt up over the years.
Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Jedi” (2004)

Back in 2004, the Swoosh label’s skateboarding subsidiary crafted an unofficial tribute to Master Yoda using the Dunk Low silhouette. The green leather overlays, tan base, and neon green touches were the perfect way to subtly recreate the skin, robes, and lightsaber of the Jedi warrior.
Nike SB Dunk High Tauntaun (2011)

More unofficial Star Wars kicks came from the Nike SB team in 2011. This time around, the team was inspired by the furry creatures of the icy planet Hoth and conjured up a hair grey Dunk High to match the Tauntaun’s appearance.
Vans x Star Wars Collection (2014)

Vans had one of the wildest Star Wars sneaker collections back in 2014. Who else would think to pair a Stormtrooper with paisley print or give Yoda a Hawaiian shirt styled pair? The looks weren’t random, though. Each pair in the lineup was actually a nod to the different planets and the characters who were from there.
Adidas Superstar 80s x Star Wars (2015)

The Adidas Star Wars collab from 2015 still has the droids sneakerheads are looking for. Think shiny silver and gold adidas Superstar 80s designs to represent R2-D2 and C-3PO. These have definitely broken some necks at Star Wars conventions.
Adidas Top Ten x Star Wars “Boba Fett” (2020)

Adidas has become the Supreme Ruler of Star Wars collabs. Not only have they been the most consistent brand to release official Star Wars sneakers, but they also happen to be the best at what they do. Just take their “Boba Fett” inspired Adidas Top Ten from 2020 as proof.
Adidas Rivalry Hi x Star Wars “Chewbacca” (2020)

Chewie also lent his likeness to an adidas sneaker in 2020. The team added fuzzy suede and fur to the Rivalry Hi and decorated it with a miniature version of the Wookiee’s bandolier. Honestly, another great pair from the adidas camp. The Force is truly strong within the Three Stripes.
Star Wars x adidas Stan Smith “Yoda” (2021)

The simplicity of this “Yoda” inspired adidas Stan Smith from 2021 is half of the appeal of the design. Not everything has to be loud and overly detailed to have an impact. This pair is as cool, calm, and collected as the Jedi Master it’s based on.
Air Jordan 4 “Baby Yoda” (2023)

Baby Yoda (now known as Grogu) became an instant hit when he made his TV debut in The Mandalorian back in 2019. He’s had plenty of toys, mugs and apparel created in his likeness, so sneakers seem like an obvious next step. The three stripes are behind the official collection (2020) inspired by ‘the Child’, but sneaker artist Chef Huyle also showed Star Wars fans what a Jordan 4 could look like dressed in Grogu colours.
Star Wars x DC Shoes “The Mandalorian” Collection (2023)

DC Shoes also took inspiration from the Disney+ hit series The Mandalorian for a full capsule collection. The sneakers ranged from graphic printed canvas options to patterned leather and plush suede offerings that represent key characters in the Madalorians’ travels. The only problem is, there are just too many cool options.
Bull Airs Nike Dunk Low “Storm Troopers” (2025)

The Nike Dunk Low has been a canvas for plenty of character collabs, even some of the best Star Wars sneakers out there. While this pair is a custom drop by the sneaker artists at Bulls Air, it’s definitely a strong contender for top Stormtrooper design in this galaxy.
Air Jordan 4 “Darth Vader”

James Earl Jones passed in 2024 at 93, but his voice still lives rent-free in your head. Mr. Mertle. Mufasa. Thulsa Doom. Darth Vader. To salute that legacy, sneaker artist Javornie Brathwaite aka jsbthecreator cooked up a custom Darth Vader Air Jordan 4 that feels right. Black patent leather dominates everything, even the laces and lining. Red hits on the sole nod to the lightsaber. Vader’s control panel sits on the heel. You already want them.
