The Nike Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Gift Giving” sneakers are a gift that keeps giving. You have probably been looking at the stunning silver sneakers and fallen in love with them. But do they come in red? The short answer is no, but they could… Introducing the Christmas “Red Toe” Air Jordan 1 High Golf sneakers.

With its sleek chrome look and transparent icy outsoles, these sneakers are perfect for entering the New Year season. While the sneaker is beautiful in its own right, some fans who are used to having a bit more colour in their look might be out of their comfort zone and don’t want to skip over Christmas in favour of the New Year.

What if you could have everything you love about these sneakers: the chrome and silver look, the white laces, the white midsole, and the transparent outsole while still having a pop of colour? This custom concept by a designer at Fortress of Solitude answers that question.

Christmas Red Toe Air Jordan 1 Custom Sneakers

To switch things up a bit, Brandon Krige has added some red chrome to the tip, the mudguard, and the lower lace stays and followed up the lace unit to the collar. Red also decorates the Jumpman logos visible on the tongue of the sneakers, making up the only red branding. In contrast, the Nike Swoosh and the Air Jordan Wings logo remain identical to the original.

Christmas Red Toe Air Jordan 1 Custom Sneakers

While the Air Jordan 1 High Golf “Gift Giving” sneakers are acceptable, the red adds something special. There is a reason why red is one of the most prominently used colours in Nike history, with colourways like Bred being one of the most popular and prominent throughout the years. This pair doesn’t take that traditional turn, using Chrome and Red, which don’t shorten like Black and Red but look amazing together.

The only thing that inspired these sneakers was wanting to see what the beautiful sneakers look like with red chrome instead of plain silver. The image looks like a pair that has stepped straight out of a comic book about a futuristic protagonist or a superhero in a red and chrome suit. One hero immediately conjured to memory is Impulse, also known as Bart Allen, the second Kid Flash and the fourth Flash, thanks to his silver and shiny red suit that gives way to a beautiful shock of dark hair.

Close Up Custom Sneakers

Unfortunately, these sneakers are just a custom concept and not a physical pair made for us to enjoy. Still, if the love for the original pair is maintained as it is now, Nike might make more chrome colourways to give people what they want this Christmas.
