Union x Travis Scott Jordan Jumpman Jack Gets “Storm Blue” Look

The "Storm Blue" Jordan Jumpman Jack takes its cues from the well-known style of Union’s signature "Storm Blue" Air Jordan 1 collaboration.

With Travis Scott’s signature shoe line currently riding a wave of immense popularity, you might be curious if Jordan Brand’s latest silhouette will feature any thrilling collaborations down the road. Right now, John Trottier of @johnnyskicks_ certainly has us dreaming about a potential Union and Travis Scott team-up with his “Storm Blue” Jordan Jumpman Jack concept.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

Trottier’s vision has truly sketched out an epic collaboration. But rather than concocting something entirely unprecedented, the sneaker artist has drawn inspiration from the familiar aesthetic of Union’s iconic “Storm Blue” Air Jordan 1 colourway, initially released back in 2018.

He faithfully translates that striking white, storm blue, varsity red, and black palette—originally seen on the Union Los Angeles x Jordan 1 Retro High—onto La Flame’s Jordan Jumpman Jack silhouette.

Even the application of colours remains consistent despite the different shoe styles. The Jumpman Jack showcases a white canvas base, while storm blue tumbled leather adorns the toe cap, eyestays, the signature reverse Swoosh, and the strap.

Adding to the impact, black leather graces the tongue and canvas collar, with red leather dressing the ankle and heel. The final touch – Union’s signature yellow zig-zag stitching and LA tag – ties the design back to the cherished theme of reviving vintage Jordan 1s.

And yes, while these Union Jordan Jumpman Jacks look spectacular, if Travis Scott ever joins forces with the trendy streetwear brand, we are likely in for something totally different. Nonetheless, it’s always exciting to see beloved design themes reimagined on new silhouettes, and Trottier’s concept certainly doesn’t disappoint.

How to Get Your Hands on the Union x Travis Scott-Inspired Jordan Jumpman Jacks

Yet, while these eye-catching kicks are currently just an incredible concept by John Trottier and not an official release from Jordan Brand, there is still a glimmer of hope for those wanting to get their hands on a pair. If you’re eager to make these beauties your own, drop Trottier a message on Instagram to chat about a custom creation.

In the meantime, several exciting colourways for this model are slated for release this year. You can keep an eye out for the “Thunder Blue”, “Mocha”, and hopefully the “Celtics” colour scheme. However, if the Union LA aesthetic excites you more, don’t miss these low-top Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 “Storm Blue” customs.
