Air Jordan 1 “Iron Man Mark V” Captures The Tony Stark Spirit

The Jordan "Iron Man Mark V" steps away from Stark's classic red and yellow colours, embracing an elegant blend of silver and red instead.

When it comes to Iron Man-inspired kicks, we’re accustomed to seeing them drenched in his signature red and yellow colours. However, this Air Jordan 1 High “Iron Man Mark V” concept takes a refreshing turn with its sleek silver and red palette, a clear homage to Tony Stark’s suitcase armour from Iron Man 2.

More About the Mark V Suit

Although the Mark V armour doesn’t feature as prominently in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as some of Stark’s other suits, it has certainly earned its spot as a favourite among fans. Perhaps it’s the simple yet sophisticated colour palette or the unforgettable suit-up scene from the movie. But whatever the reason, capturing the aesthetic in sneaker form feels nothing short of necessary.

Air Jordan 1 "Iron Man Mark V"

Inspired by the sleekness of Tony Stark’s iconic suit, the Air Jordan 1 High “Iron Man Mark V” boasts a striking red upper. You’ll find this deep crimson shade enveloping the toe box, tongue, quarter panels, ankle flap, and eyestays, offering a striking backdrop.

Add to that a dash of metallic brilliance with shiny silver overlays and collar, as well as patent leather Swooshes on the sides, giving it that signature metallic shine.

Completing the ensemble is a red midsole paired with a silver rubber outsole, perfectly in sync with the rest of the theme. While these sneakers may miss out on featuring the iconic arc reactor design on the tongue or heel, these kicks would still be a dream come true for any Iron Man fan or really just anyone aiming to catch a glance or two with their footwear.
