For this year’s Dongdan basketball tournament in Beijing, Jordan Brand is sticking to earthy palettes for their sneaker releases. Images of the brand’s Oatmeal and Coconut Milk-coloured “Dongdan” Jordan 1s appeared online earlier late last month. Now, the Air Jordan 13 Low “Dongdan” is carrying on the trend with a similar colour scheme.
A Closer Look At The Sneakers
Like its AJ1 counterpart, the sneaker features an understated and refined palette with Monarch, Coconut Milk, Off Noir, Hemp, and Oatmeal colours woven throughout the AJ 13’s design.
A smooth brown suede covers the uppers, while beige tumbled leather panels give an extra luxurious touch. Adding a little drama to the ensemble is an almost marbled effect on the inner lining that combines shades of dark brown. Of course, the shoe also boasts some event-specific branding, including a custom Dongdan-branded tongue badge and hidden text behind the tongue.
