Can you think of a better sneaker duo than the iconic Tom and Jerry? While we haven’t seen a major sneaker collaboration featuring the popular cat and mouse since Reebok’s collection in 2020 (well, at least to my knowledge), that could all change in 2025. The beloved cartoon franchise celebrates its 85th anniversary this year, which will hopefully bring about new and exciting collaborations in the world of kicks. But for now, Scott Hunter’s (@think.scott) custom Tom and Jerry Nike Dunk Low sneakers are guaranteed to gratify any fan of the legendary cartoon combo.

A Closer Look At The Design

Hunter’s take on a sneaker inspired by the famous cartoon characters features a split design, with Tom on one shoe and Jerry on the other.

The left shoe is covered in shades of grey to match Tom’s fur, with an unusual yellow and green ombre effect on the collar to symbolise his eyes. A touch of pink on the heel resembles the colour of his ears, while a delicate pawprint design on the sole unit and tongue rounds off the intriguing design details.

As for Jerry’s side, the right shoe features brown hues throughout the upper to match his fur and delicate pink touches on the inner lining and laces to symbolise the colour of his ears. His shoe features a cheese-like pattern on the tongue branding and a little graphic of his favourite treat atop the profile Swooshes as well. The design also showcases little paw prints on the sole, but they are located closer to the forefoot rather than at the heel, like Tom’s shoe.

But what about the standard design feature that ties the shoes together? Both sneakers have bright red Swoosh logos edged in yellow to mimic the memorable Tom and Jerry logo we would see during the opening credits of the beloved series. It’s the perfect finishing touch to evoke a sense of nostalgia and fond memories for all fans.
