Forty years have passed since the classic Ghostbusters movie had us all belting out its catchy theme song. Yes, it has been four whole decades since the world first met the kooky group of paranormal investigators and encountered some really memorable ghouls along the way. As we allow that to sink in, let’s not overlook the Ghostbusters x PUMA Suede XL Pack, a partnership that pays tribute to this significant milestone in the movie’s history.
A Closer Look At The Sneakers
This pack includes two chunky PUMA Suede designs inspired by two of the film’s most iconic ghouls: the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer.
The first pair has a creamy suede base with bright blue and red accents on the branding and inner lining, instantly reminding us of the giant marshmallow figure on a rampage through New York. And if the colour scheme fails to trigger that memory, you get an image of the character peeking out from beneath the shoe’s translucent outsoles.
In contrast, the second pair is lime green with fuzzy suede on the tongue and heel. You also get a nod to the character on the outsoles, but this time with a hotdog image representing Slimer’s insatiable appetite for food.
Ghostbusters x PUMA Suede XL Pack Release Details
This Ghostbusters inspired sneaker pack will be available to purchase from PUMA.com and select retailers starting October 1, 2024. Each pair in this collection will be priced at $95 USD in men’s sizes.
