Puma and LaMelo Ball’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection has grown beyond just the initial two pairs we showcased in November last year. Yes, some noteworthy villains have also joined in on the action, including the sinister alien warlord Krang and the mad scientist Baxter Stockman. But the real treat is the opportunity to secure a pair of PUMA MB.o4 sneakers inspired by the villain of all villains, Shredder. Buuuut there’s a catch. This is an exclusive chance that only a few lucky fans will get to experience.

How To Secure A Pair Of PUMA MB.o4 “Shredder” Sneakers

To be eligible for Shredder’s silver and purple PUMA MB.o4 sneakers, fans will have to collect all four pairs from the TMNT collection. That means you’ll need to have the “Michelangelo and Leonardo” design, the “Donatello and Raphael” pair, as well as the “Krang” and “Baxter Stockman” releases in your possession to stand a chance of securing the Shredder-inspired colourway for FREE. However, only 444 pairs of “Shredders” will be available, so this deal is only valid while supplies last.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

And if you’re wondering if this pair is even worth all the fuss, the answer is a resounding yes. The sneaker shines with a chromed-out base and shimmering purple embellishments across the upper. There are also several motifs that pay homage to the renowned TMNTurtles villain, including a depiction of his face at the heel plus his limbs and steel claws stretching along the back. But let’s be honest: they already had us at the word “free.”

Release Details

If you’d like to try your luck at obtaining a pair of these limited-edition sneakers, make sure to keep an eye on the TMNT releases as they come in. Each pair will be available on PUMA.com and select retailers.

Baxter Stockman’s MB.01 will open the collection for $135 (or R3 499 if you’re in South Africa), and the MB.04 “Raphael & Donatello” follows on February 8, also for $135 as well. After that, the “Leonardo & Michelangelo” will be available on February 14 for $135, and the last MB.03 Lo “Krang” will be available on February 22 for $125.

To secure the ‘Shredder’ pair, you’ll need to be able to submit proof of purchase for all four pairs. More information about this process will be available on the PUMA website.
