But while we’re still waiting on an official release from the duo, custom sneaker artists like Błażej Miliwek of Blejzu Custom are filling the void by creating their own LEGO x Air Jordan 1 High designs.
A Closer Look At The Design
The base of Miliwek’s sneaker is your typical Air Jordan 1 High silhouette, with smooth black leather overlays set against a white leather body. However, he has adorned the toe box, ankle flap, and heel with vibrant silicone strips that are compatible with LEGO pieces. With these strips, wearers can add custom LEGO elements to their sneakers, like removable wings or interchangeable LEGO characters, to make them as fun and unique as they want them to be—I mean, just imagine being able to add your favourite LEGO figurines and accessories to your sneakers! Even though it’s not an official collaboration, this sneaker definitely fuels our excitement for what Nike and LEGO will be cooking up together.
