Purple sneakers might not be the easiest to match with every outfit, but boy, do they make a statement. Celebrating the beauty of a sneaker colourway dominated by this regal and vibrant hue is the Air Jordan 3 “Purple Rain” custom by the renowned sneaker customiser Savoir-Faire Paris.
More About The Artist
For those unacquainted, Savoir-Faire Paris is a French luxury sneaker customisation brand celebrated for their exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
We’ve been mesmerised by many of their unique creations, including their Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “UCLA” customs and their premium Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Batman”. However, their latest creation, the Air Jordan 3 “Purple Rain,” is the one we’re coveting right now.
A Closer Look At The Sneaker
Savoir-Faire Paris envelops the Air Jordan 3 in luxurious purple nubuck, extending this lush hue even to the mudguard and lateral Swooshes. However, the sneaker also boasts hits of black tumbled leather on the toe, eyestays, and collar, complemented by medial Swooshes crafted from python leather.
For a dash of extra vibrancy, the heel tab features embroidered red Swooshes, strikingly contrasting the overall palette. This design brings to mind the Travis Scott Friends and Family AJ4 from 2019, which also sported a similar colourway. Finishing off the sneaker is a classic white midsole and a grey outsole, which keep it looking clean and refined.
Why Jordan Brand hasn’t explored more purple colourways in their Air Jordan 3 lineup remains a mystery, but that only heightens our desire for this perfect purple pair by Savoir-Faire Paris.
Is The Air Jordan 3 “Purple Rain” Available For Purchase?
Unfortunately, most of Savoir-Faire Paris’ custom creations are unique, one-of-one designs crafted upon a client’s special request. However, you can still contact the brand to commission a bespoke pair customised to your preferred silhouette, materials, and colour palette.
Do keep in mind that customisation prices start at €1,200 (approximately $1,300.18 USD) and can vary depending on the complexity of the design and materials used. Nevertheless, flexible payment options are available to make owning a unique pair of sneakers more accessible.
So, while you mull over the idea of investing in a custom pair, there’s plenty of inspiration to draw from. Whether it’s the perfect pair of Paisley Nike Air Force 1s, a premium Air Max 1 “Evisu Denim” sneaker, or even an opulent Tiffany & Co x Air Jordan 1 design, there’s a vast array of silhouettes and styles to explore. As you do, be sure to follow us here at Sneaker Fortress for the latest on custom and concept kicks.
