It’s always fascinating to see how a few minor tweaks to a sneaker design can significantly transform the overall feel. Just consider these customised “Canary Yellow” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows by sneaker artist Huy Le (@chefhuyle). While much of the colourway remains true to Scott’s original “Elkins” AJ1, Le’s subtle changes give the shoe a fresh, new vibe.

A Closer Look At The Sneaker

As highlighted earlier, this custom “Canary Yellow” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low retains much of its original charm, making the inspiration behind it instantly recognisable. The vibrant yellow nubuck overlays, off-white tumbled leather base, and blue Cactus Jack branding on the tongue are dead giveaways of its Elkins roots.

However, Le’s alterations to the signature reverse Swooshes and laces make a noticeable impact. Instead of the Racer Blue accents seen in the original version, Le chose a crisp white tone that lends the sneaker a cleaner and more cohesive look akin to the Off-White Canary Yellows that never officially released. This seemingly small change dramatically impacts the sneaker’s overall versatility and, let’s face it, their appeal.

Are the “Canary Yellow” Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows Available For Purchase?

Unfortunately, these custom sneakers aren’t available for purchase—at least not yet. However, you can stay updated by following Huy Le’s Instagram page for any news on potential releases or upcoming custom projects. We’re certainly hoping these are among his customs we’ll get a chance to grab. But if you’re feeling bold enough, you might consider customising your own “Elkins” pair, though it may impact the shoe’s resale value.

In the meantime, explore more of Travis Scott’s enticing colourways brought to life by this talented sneaker artist. Dive into his mouth-watering “Neapolitan” AJ1 pack or his unique take on the “Chicago Bulls” AJ1 colourway.
