There have been a couple of amazing official Stranger Things-inspired sneakers throughout the years since the series aired on Netflix and effectively took over the internet, but nothing that we absolutely fell in love with. Here at Sneaker Fortress, when we can’t find something we like, we make our own. Keep reading to take a detailed look at our Air Jordan 6 x Stranger Things custom sneaker design.

As we anticipate the next spin-off of Stranger Things, we’ve meticulously crafted our own interpretation of the Air Jordan 6 x Stranger Things sneakers. Every detail, from the structure to the materials, has been carefully considered to bring you this exceptional design.

The Look

Speaking of the colourway, we have gone with white, chrome metallic red, and blue, not just blue. The blue sections of the sneakers are made to be a soft gradient with white speckles through them, making them look like the Milky Way visible in the night sky over Hawkins. But I’m getting ahead of myself here, so let’s look at the details of these sneakers.

Starting from the base of the sneakers, you can see the lovely blue gradient theme on the outsoles, making up the two “cut-out” sections that makeup part of the outsole. Complementing the outsole and bringing out the white speckles and stars throughout the sneakers, the outsole is topped off by a white midsole.

Looking up at the sneakers’ upper, the textiles used throughout include chrome-like red patent leather for the overlays. In contrast, the actual foot boot underneath the overlays has a gorgeous blue design on buttery smooth, perforated leather for breathability.

Of course, the Air Jordan 6’s defining features—the TPU tongue with its own cutouts and the arch that makes up the heel tab, made of the same material—are both present on the sneakers and take on the same gradient as the rest of the sneaker. The tongue also features a little detail displaying the moon over Hawkins.

The red extends up the lace unit as well, with the spring clasp/lace toggle taking on the same gorgeous chrome quality as the sneakers in red and the lace aglets doing the same but in blue to match the other accents throughout the sneakers.

Finally, the inner lining is white to match the sneakers’ midsole, working to ground the otherwise incredibly colourful sneakers. If these sneakers were authentic, you must be a particular kind of sneakerhead to pull off these loud sneakers. Still, they would look gorgeous in any collection.

Would you wear these custom Air Jordan 6 x Stranger Things sneakers?
