Some characters linger in our memories long after the final episode airs, and Urkel (Jaleel White) from the TV show “Family Matters” is certainly one of them. Although he was initially meant to be a one-time guest, the scrawny catchphrase-spouting super nerd quickly won audiences over, turning into a regular cast member that we all welcomed into our homes. The rest, as they say, is history. To date, Urkel remains the most unforgettable character from the show, thanks to his iconic catchphrase “Did I do that?” and his, well, one-of-a-kind fashion sense. It’s precisely this unique style that has earned him his very own custom, “What The” Urkel Nike Dunk Lows, designed by Dariyn Enriquez of @dope_don_designs.

A Closer Look at the “What The” Urkel Nike Dunk Lows

These vibrant sneakers are an eclectic mix of four different types of denim and six different shirt patterns, reflecting Steve Urkel’s charmingly unconventional style. The overlays come in various denim hues, while the base flaunts a collage of classic Urkel fabrics. Expect to see everything from plaid and argyle to loud, colourful stripes that perfectly represent the beloved character.

There’s no doubt that these “What The” Urkel Nike Dunk Lows are a joyful and nostalgic nod to a beloved character from the ’90s. In fact, these kicks are so compelling that even Jaleel White himself made sure to grab a pair to honour his unforgettable character.
