Nike and Jordan Brand are about to set the sneaker world ablaze this Fall with a series of exclusive, tonal releases. From the Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Croc” to the “Vanta Black” Air Force 1s, all-black colourways are taking over as the colder months approach. The newest addition to this monochromatic craze is the Air Max Plus Drift “Triple Black”.  While adhering to the all-black theme, this sleek and futuristic design introduces some unexpected new elements that remind us of a certain superhero’s iconic style.

A Closer Look at the Sneaker

While you still get the beloved features of the Air Max Plus Drift silhouette—like the iconic TPU cage and Tuned Air cushioning—the design takes a daring leap by replacing the signature mesh base with a black carbon fibre material, giving it that unmistakably Batman-esque look (you see it too, right?).

To complement this updated material, both the midsole and outsole are cloaked in black, along with all the finer details of the shoe. The only splash of colour comes from the yellow branding on the insole and subtle yellow accents in the visible Air unit at the heel—again, channelling those Batman vibes.

So, if you want to add a touch of Dark Knight flair to your sneaker rotation, these kicks are the perfect choice for the colder months. They’re not just stylish, futuristic, and, well, beautiful; but the versatile “Triple Black” colourway also ensures they’ll be a practical wardrobe staple.
